កូន Koun: A Khmer Youth Archive

Magazine & Exhibition

Join us for the launch of កូន Koun: A Khmer Youth Archive, a magazine and arts exhibition created by Khmer youth in Minnesota.

This summer, our student group gathered to explore identity, culture, and creativity through writing, art, and storytelling. The result is a collective archive that celebrates inheritance, legacy, and the voices of the next generation.

Come see the magazine’s debut issue, view student artwork, and connect with community members as we honor the brilliance of Khmer youth together. Light refreshments will be served.

This program is in collaboration with CAMY (Center for Asian MN Youth) SEA Us Write & Design. We are committed to creating inclusive, culturally rooted spaces for Southeast Asian youth to grow as writers, artists, and leaders. Its first group, the Khmer Youth Circle, offers a supportive community where Khmer youth can explore identity, build relationships, and develop creative skills while honoring their heritage.
